FAQ’s
How much: Enroll by March 31st for the special Early-bird registration price of $1,295 per person! Space is limited so please do not delay! If space is available, registrations will be accepted from April 1st to May 1st at the regular rate of $1,895 per person. Again, space is limited so don’t wait to register!! Your registration includes 2-days attendance along with set meal menu (see meals below). Additionally, we have been able to secure $59 per night room rates! See getting there and lodging below for more information.
Where: Palms Casio Resort has been chosen for this workshop for its intimate learning environment, many onsite amenities, 16 onsite restaurants along with its close proximity to the Las Vegas strip. The meeting facilities are located on the 2nd floor of the Fantasy Tower and provide a much better quiet, intimate learning environment than the crowded, bustling resorts on the strip. The Palms Casino Resort boasts one of Las Vegas best pools (Palms Pool & Day Club), Top Steakhouses (N9Ne Steakhouse) and Top 5 Las Vegas nightclubs (Ghostbar) on the 55th floor overlooking Las Vegas. The Palms resort is located approximately 1 mile from the strip and the Palms provides a free shuttle to and from center strip (Caesars Palace). Cab fare is approximately $10-15 each way to the strip, depending on location.
Getting there and lodging: You will want to fly into Las Vegas International Airport (LAS) and use ground transportation to the Palms. Cabs/Uber are the preferred method. We recommend arriving on Tuesday, May 10th and staying at least 3 nights. We have secured special pricing of $59/night for May 10-12th , 2016. You MUST use the link provided on the invitation page to secure this special discounted rate or ask for Agency ADvisor meeting rate if calling. And you may want to be creative and stay longer! The rates can be extended 3 days prior or 3 days after if available! (Did someone mention Ditch Day Friday Party at the Palms Pool?) The workshops will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday (5/11/16) and conclude at 5pm on Thursday (5/12/16). The Palms has 3 towers: Fantasy, Palms Place and Palms Ivory. We have secured a room block in the Fantasy tower under the special $59/night rate as the meeting rooms are on the 2nd floor of this tower. Just take the elevator to the 2nd floor meeting rooms.
Meals: A continental breakfast and lunch, with coffee and tea, along with mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks will be provided and are included in your registration fees. A water station is also provided in the meeting room. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any special dietary requests outside of the provided menu and there are no discounts for not participating. However, there are over 15 restaurants on the property if you desire something different.
Dress code: Resort casual dress is recommended. This includes polo style shirts, sundresses, linen pants, skorts, skirts, button up tops, nice shorts, and dresses. Nothing fancy, but not just cutoff shorts, t-shrt and flip flops. Be comfortable as Las Vegas will be in the 80’s-90’s in October and the conference room could be chilly for some. Dress in layers or bring a sweater or light jacket if you wish.
Do I have to pre-register? Yes! No registrations will be accepted at the door. All registrations must be made online by May 1, 2016. Pre-registration discounts end March 31st, 2016.
Can I record it? Any video or audio recording is strictly prohibited. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave and no refunds will be issued. Thanks for understanding.
Do I have to attend all of it? You are free to come and go as you wish. However, we have packed a lot of information into 2 fun filled days that we don’t think you will want to leave!
Is there an agenda? The majority of the topics to be covered have already been posted on the Information page. A detailed agenda will be provided upon arrival. We have so much information that we are busy trying to only include the best, most relevant for these 2-days. So, a detailed agenda may not be known until we get a full head count and can determine how much can be covered in the allotted time. We appreciate your patience.
Cancelation or Refunds: Cancelations prior to April 15th will incur a $50 charge. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refunds after April 15th as the final number must be provided to venue at this time.
What should I do afterwards? Hey, its Vegas baby! Just try to stay out of jail as we do not provide bail money! Hit the strip for lots of action or check out the Ghostbar for that nightclub feel. The Palms has over 8 bars and over 15 restaurants, along with a world class spa, pool and gambling. The list is endless so have fun…but be safe!
Is there an age requirement? Yes, you must be 21 years of age or older to enter or stay at the Palms Casino Resort, or any casino in Nevada for that matter. This is an adult playground so leave the kiddos at home.
